  • I've had this collar a couple weeks now and I'm very impressed so far. This is a large and bulky unit, I have a 25kg GSP bitch and I wouldn't recommend it on any smaller dog. The transmitter is also quite large so if you're looking for something subtle this is not it. This has the handy lock function which prevents any accidental changes in level if you have the handset in your pocket. This is unlikely anyway as the dial isn't overly loose but a good peace of mind. The battery life is excellent, I have yet the need to charge it. The locate light function is handy at night, definitely going to get a lot of use during the winter months. The stim level increases nice and gradually, I've found I only use the between 7 and 25, but my dog has always been quite sensitive to stim so there's plenty left on the top end for more stubborn dogs. The vibrate is quite strong, I'd have preferred it to be a little less harsh but that's just me. Overall good quality product, puts some of the other brands on the market to shame.
