DOGTRA 1200X (DOGTRA 1900X)

We have a nearly 2yr old STUBBORN Doberman. I have tirelessly trained her, she’s been properly socialised, stimulated and loved but we just weren’t getting any obedience from her. I could see in her eyes she knew the command I was asking of her, she just chose not to listen. Because of this, our cats were terrified of her, she wasn’t allowed off lead and we lost our patience daily with her. That was until we came across a Dogtra stand at a game fair show where we met Ian and a brand representative who talked us through the best collar for her and this one was recommended. I can honestly say this has changed her life most of all, and ours. It has multifunctions, nick, stim, light, beep, boost just to name a few. The stim ranges 1-100 and we’re currently finding 18 perfect so plenty room for stubborn dogs. The light is brilliant and can see this will be amazing in the winter months. To also know we can add another 2 dogs onto the loop is brilliant. The collar length is perfect for small or thick necks and the remote, although not discreet, has a handy clip for a lanyard. I don’t really have anything negative to say about this collar, I cannot recommend it enough. Ian is also very knowledgeable if you’re scared of taking the leap and have questions! Our house is now harmonious, every walk since has been off lead around men and dogs (her triggers) and Nelle has finally accepted we’re boss and not her and responding to every command! 5/5 ⭐️

I've had this collar a couple weeks now and I'm very impressed so far. This is a large and bulky unit, I have a 25kg GSP bitch and I wouldn't recommend it on any smaller dog. The transmitter is also quite large so if you're looking for something subtle this is not it. This has the handy lock function which prevents any accidental changes in level if you have the handset in your pocket. This is unlikely anyway as the dial isn't overly loose but a good peace of mind. The battery life is excellent, I have yet the need to charge it. The locate light function is handy at night, definitely going to get a lot of use during the winter months. The stim level increases nice and gradually, I've found I only use the between 7 and 25, but my dog has always been quite sensitive to stim so there's plenty left on the top end for more stubborn dogs. The vibrate is quite strong, I'd have preferred it to be a little less harsh but that's just me. Overall good quality product, puts some of the other brands on the market to shame.
