The Dogtra YS600 is better suited to large to giant breeds. There have been a few exceptions to this in the past where customers have had smaller but very stubborn breeds who have not responded to other makes of anti barking collar.
This is an assessment that you and only you can make for your dog.

There is no vibrate only option on this collar.
